European Product Design Award

We just received the European Product Design Award for TRICURO go, a clever smartphone attachment we designed along with an intuitive app for Kentago GmbH. It helps health managers, physiotherapists, fitness trainers or osteopaths to easily measure the spine and display it on the mobile phone display. Kentago TRICURO go – UI

When start-up Kentago GmbH approached us to design both hardware and digital app for its innovative product TRICURO go (which helps health professionals to measure the spine) we were over the moon. By being involved in the sum of all user interactions we were able to ensure highest customer satisfaction. We love the reduction of elements to a minimum: The combination of the intelligence of the mobile phone, the sensors of the device and the app ensures a blend of the latest technology with an intuitive and optimized workflow. Kentago TRICURO go

Many of us suffer from back problems, often caused by lack of exercise or one-sided physical strain at work. This is why we got pretty excited when German Start-Up Kentago approached us to help them design a clever smartphone attachment with which health managers, physiotherapists, fitness trainers or osteopaths can easily measure the spine and display it on the mobile phone display. In this project we designed an ecosystem combining the intelligence of mobile phones, the sensors of the device and an app, which ensures a blend of latest technology with an intuitive and optimized workflow.

Earth Day 2020

Today marks the 50th anniversary of Earth Day, a reminder to take responsibility and act on climate change for securing healthy and dignified futures. As designers we can do so by promoting circular materials and production processes. This is why we are putting a focus on growing our materials library with eco-friendly samples fostering sustainable technologies.

New Partnership with Asia Universal Technologies & Cotron

We are happy to announce our partnership with Asia Universal Technologies & Cotron. With AUT being one of the most innovative electrical engineering companies in the audio market and Cotron being one of the leading audio manufacturers worldwide, we are now able to offer end to end headphone production service for audio and lifestyle brands who want to expand their product portfolio.

Part 3 of our series of sneak-peaks into our work with Grasshopper: Thanks to parametric algorithms we can create complex geometries and patterns which stand in relationship to each other. Changing an input will prompt an update of any geometry which is linked to it.

Another sneak-peak into our work with Grasshopper. Parametric algorithms let us create volumes through splines. Later adjustments of surface depth and count of splines can be carried out easily.

Today we kick-off a series of sneak-peaks into our work with Grasshopper. Thanks to parametric algorithms we can create complex geometries and patterns which stand in relationship to each other. Another advantage: later adjustment of the data can be carried out quickly and easily.

A Happy New Year!

With the opening of our studio, 2019 has been quite exciting for us! Let's give you a glimpse into what we have been up to over the last few months:

While we worked on audio equipment, smart home automation and an exciting glass project, we also got the chance to hold design thinking workshops. Generative patterns and recycled materials were some of the main drivers of our designs. We got some compelling additions to our material library and gathered inspiration from our visits to fairs and design weeks. Most importantly we grew our network of partners within production, research and development. Stay tuned and follow us - we will shed the light on more specific details in 2020!

We wish you a healthy, happy and prosperous new year!
