Being a POS company with traditional roots German market leader ANKER Group asked us to design a modern customisable retro cash register that celebrates their heritage. The Anker RK10 presents itself as a design housing into which cash register hardware such as tablets and printers can be inserted easily and without any prior knowledge.
Taking into account the limitations of metal processing for the housing design we also took great care in choosing the right colours, materials and finishes to support the retro character of the product. High-quality materials such as steel, copper and wood are used to make the cash register robust and to give it a first-class appearance. With its interchangeable design panels it can be perfectly integrated into the ambience of boutiques, bars, cafés and the like.
