Tension and blockages in the back are usually caused by lack of exercise or one-sided physical strain at work. „TRICURO go” revolutionizes the way health professionals can measure the spine and display it to their patients in an understandable way. In addition, suitable exercise programs can be derived for those affected. By showing the effects of those exercises it motivates people to do something for their personal back mobility and well-being.
Next to the hardware design for „TRICURO go” German Start-Up Kentago assigned us to create the co-existing app which makes use of the technological potential of smart phones. The phone’s acceleration sensor determines the position of each vertebrae of the spine, the button to start the measurement is integrated within the software. Kentago’s aim was to make a bold statement within the digital design. Contrasting colours reflect the lifestyle and fitness character while a clean layering of information transforms the complexity of medical measurement softwares into an intuitive app.
