In 2020 the COVID-19 pandemic hit the whole world. As one of the safety measures the number of customers in shops was limited. It aimed to reduce crowding, maintain social distancing, and minimize the virus’s spread. This precaution protected both shoppers and employees, helping to curb the pandemic’s impact. Nevertheless, many shop owners were overwhelmed and struggled to keep track with the costumers entering their shops.
Lumerg is a robust visitor counter that combines physical sensors with a user-friendly app. It tracks and displays the shop’s occupancy in real-time and notifies the shop employee via app. The LEDs on the pedestal can be operated automatically or manually, ensuring safe social distancing and reducing overcrowding risks during the pandemic.
